A new record

We are not even through September and yet we have beaten some of our records already. It has been extremely busy period for all of the TBR departments and it is definitely paying off. We were thrilled that TBR Scotland managed more jobs in one day than has never been achieved before. On top of that our corporate team had their busiest week ever too. Well done team TBR!

It has not been all work and no play as we got to attend the Inspiring City Awards 2014 in the Radisson Blu in Glasgow. Our managing Director Craig chambers was nominated for the award of “Outstanding Contribution by a young business leader”. Unfortunately he did not win but a great night was had by the team who went. Pictures from the awards night can been seen on our Facebook page, so go have a look and see how we scrub up for a black tie event.

Outstanding Contribution by a young business leader

The night of the Inspiring City Awards 2014 is here and there is a great atmosphere in the office as everyone is getting ready for the black tie event.  The Inspiring City Awards are aimed at recognising those truly remarkable individuals, businesses and organisations that consistently go the extra mile to ensure Glasgow continues to flourish.

Glasgow City Council leader Gordon Matheson, who is also chairman of the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, said: “The nominations recognise those who are working to make a difference at every level – from inspiring action geared at improving their local communities to enhancing the city’s reputation on a global scale.”

We are all really excited about our Managing Director Craig being nominated for the “Outstanding Contribution by a young business leader” as it not only shows the work he has achieved but also the work of all the TBR as a team.

We have booked a table for the event so will be taking lots of pictures and tweeting, so follow us on @tbrglobal.  There may be some sore heads in the office tomorrow but it will all be worth it.  Wish us luck!
